Modern Vintage Amour

"The crown jewel in Harrogate’s Valley Gardens, The Sun Pavilion offers an exclusive and truly unique setting in which to say your vows, either under the beautiful original 1930’s Art Deco glass dome bathed in natural light or the covered terrace, heated in the colder months." - Rosa Aqua Weddings
Based in North Yorkshire Rosa Aqua Weddings provide bespoke wedding and event planning, design and styling services, helping couples organise the wedding of their dreams.
“When creating a design for the shoot, I was inspired by the idyllic settings of The Sun Pavilion and the beautiful surroundings.
For the style, I decided to combine traditional and modern elements with a modern-vintage botanical theme that was reflected in every detail. I chose a simple yet elegant decor and a pastel colour combo to complement the style, in harmony with the venue and settings”.

The flower arrangements were a key feature. The airy and delicate bouquets and table centrepieces blended perfectly with the venue style. Hyde Park Flower Club by Dottie's -“We try to be eco-friendly as much as possible. We enjoyed creating a botanical take on vintage English garden floral style”.
Joy’s Bella Bridesmaids – “I dressed our three bridesmaids models in dresses by Motee Maids and Multi-way to fit with the rest of the styling. I decided to go with mix and match perfection! What’s great about these dresses are that they are perfect for allowing your maids to choose the neckline, shape and material which suits them whilst still abiding by the colour scheme and vision of your day. Choosing complimentary colours can really bring out the colours of the flowers, styling and add that little bit extra to the overall look and feel of your day”.

Rebecca Richard Designs – “I wanted the watercolour floral illustrations to really compliment the arrangements and the bouquets, and using soft pastel colours made sure the stationery was in keeping with the tone of the shoot. I wanted to convey an elegant and romantic feel through the extra touches such as the hand dyed silk ribbon and hand painted place settings”.

I wanted to create an eye-catching focal point with a stunning hand painted floral cake that was especially made for this styled shoot. Where The Ribbon Ends - “We worked with Rosa Aqua Weddings to create a cake to match the design and colour palette”.
